The San Diego Chargers got a bit of good news with starting running back Ryan Matthews being listed as probable on the team’s latest injury report. The Chargers will face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday with their postseason hopes on the line.

San Diego needs a win and some help to qualify for the postseason, but with the Chiefs apparently resting some of their starters, the Chargers should be able to come away with a win at home. If that happens, San Diego will also need both the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens to lose in order to get to the playoffs.

Miami hosts the New York Jets and the Ravens go on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.

As far as the Fantasy Football world is concerned, Matthews should get a heavy workload against the Chiefs. He may be in for a big day since the Chiefs are planning to rest some starters and linebacker Tamba Hali is already listed as out on the team’s latest injury report. It is also likely that linebacker Justin Houston, who is listed as probable, will get limited action in Sunday’s game.
