On Christmas Day, the good people at Twentieth Century Fox decided to spread a little Christmas cheer. Of course, by Christmas cheer, I mean a look into the coming of the Anti-Christ, but you know what I mean. Fox released a new TV Spot for their upcoming film Devil’s Due.
The spot starts out by quoting a version of John 2:18.
“Children, this is the last hour.” The narrator says. “As you have been told, the antichrist is coming.”
I know that we have all seen our fair share of “mother of the antichrist” movies, but I am a sucker for a creepy horror movie.
Here is a look at the synopsis of the film courtesy of IMDb.com
After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin.”
The TV Spot shows clips from various different including the wedding of our main characters Zach and Samantha McCall, played in the film by Zach Gilford and Allison Miller, a scene in the church where I think the Father realizes what has walked into his church, an incredibly creepy moment of Mom sleeping peacefully as the baby decides to try to escape her stomach the hard way, and so much more.
The Christmas music is a nice touch, as well.
I think it is best of you talk a look for yourself. Here is a look at the latest TV spot for the film Devil’s Due.
Devil’s Due is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2014.
