The Miami Dolphins have a shot to make the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Hall of Famer Don Shula has expressed his full support in Dolphins head coach, Joe Philbin, who has led the team to a surprising run that could potentially include the postseason.

From ESPN,

“I like (Philbin) a lot. He’s a heck of a guy and comes from a great program, so he’s been with a winner,” Shula said before Sunday’s game. “You can see the imprint on what’s happening here, and the people he’s hiring and the way that they’re playing.

“I think that he’s the right man for the job.”

Although there is just one game left in the regular season, there is still room for the Dolphins to play in more games. First off, the Dolphins need to win their week 17 match up against the New York Jets. A loss would automatically eliminate them from playoff contention. They also need either a loss by he Baltimore Ravens or a win by the San Diego Chargers.
