Boston Celtics forward Kris Humphries has a bit of a unique reputation around the league. Some genuinely like the guy while others, reportedly aren’t overly fond of him. Regardless of your opinion, Humphries’ passion on the floor can’t be denied.
A hard worker, the former Mr. Kardashian is known for his gritty and gruff work around the basket and not so much for an offensive game.
So understandably, when you don’t get to shoot much, you get eager with any opportunity that may come your way.
Case in point, during Boston’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, Humphries was awaiting a tip ball. It made its way towards him and his teammates, knowing the ball was secure began their walk to the other side of the court. Not Humphries though, who turned around, focused on the basket and began to set his feet for a shot. Only problem? He was going to be shooting at his own basket.
Thankfully, the Celtics power forward realized his potential mistake before releasing the shot and the crowd, clearly aware of what was going on, could let out a concerned groan.
