One thing we know – Charles Tillman will be playing in the NFL come the 2014 season. Will it be with the Chicago Bears, though? That seems a bit more up in the air.

Peanut, as he’s often referred to, is coming off a torn triceps muscle which limited him to only eight games during the past season. It certainly put a damper on the Bears’ defense, who not shockingly, had their secondary burned in the final moments of their winner-take-all, Week 17 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

A free agent to be, Tillman has no plans to retire but returning to the Bears seems uncertain:

"Bears CB Charles Tillman said he does not plan to retire. He said he has decisions to make in the comings weeks & months, though."

For what it’s worth, Tillman says he has no plans to move from corner to safety (which the Bears may prefer) so he’ll have limited his free agent options with such a decision.

Chicago will likely attempt to bring Tillman back, though, only at a reduced price.
