The Los Angeles Lakers’ season has been destroyed by injuries. The Lakers are currently without Kobe Bryant (left tibial plateau fracture), Steve Nash (strained back and elbow), Pau Gasol (upper respiratory infection) and Steve Blake ( torn right ligament in his elbow). Plus, they lost Xavier Henry to a right knee strain during Sunday night’s 111-104 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

However, it wasn’t all bad news for the Lakers Monday.

According to Mike Trudell of the Lakers’ official website, Gasol “practiced fully” Monday and will start when the Lakers take on the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night.

Gasol has missed the Lakers’ last two games and three of their last five. The Lakers lost all five of those games.

Gasol scored 10 points on four-of-12 shooting, grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists in 20 minutes in a 117-92 loss to the Phoenix Suns Monday. In a Christmas Day loss to the Miami Heat, he had 13 points on six-of-12 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds.

On the season, he’s averaging 14.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
