Nick Saban gets manicure at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans (Video)

In advance of the Allstate Sugar Bowl between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners, players and coaches from both teams visited New Orleans Children Hospital and 12-year-old patient Gabrielle Mave even gave Alabama head coach, Nick Saban in impromptu manicure.

Here is the video of the special moment courtesy of The Tuscaloosa News:

This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I think there may even be some Auburn Tigers fans tipping their cap at Saban for doing this.

Who says Saban doesn’t have a heart of gold?

On the outside he has the rough and tough exterior and doesn’t appear to be too personable in his media appearances, but deep down he’s a big softy and you have to love him doing anything to give this child who is going through an incredibly difficult ordeal a day she’ll never forget.

Alabama and Oklahoma play on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. central time on ESPN.
