Now that the dust has settled for the 2013 NFL Regular Season, it’s time to start canning head coaches. Now Houston took it a bit early with firing Gary Kubiak midseason but there are still plenty of coaches left to be fired.  The New York Jets have already announced that Rex Ryan will return as head coach of the team in 2014 so he’s the first coach on the hot seat to be saved so far.

Some teams see it as the saving grace for their team. Firing the head coach is a slippery slope, it doesn’t always work out. But, trying to build a good team under the wrong coach isn’t likely to work out either. Last season, Black Monday saw eight coaches get their pink slips. Let’s predict who will get canned today.

Don’t tell me you need time, look what Andy reed did year one! Chiefs couldn’t beat a cold last year. Go get Gruden back and give him authority and money to spend :-)

The Chiefs also only needed a few pieces to complete their team. A coach, a QB, and the number one draft pick. other than that their team Is stacked across the board with talent. Coaches don’t win football games by themselves, it takes the entire team. The coaches put the best players they have in the best positions they can to win games. When you have 10 new
starters and most of them were career back ups or practice squad players or players who were cut by other teams, The Raiders starters for the most part would be backups on any other team in the NFL with the exception of a couple players. The offense and defense have more holes and Swiss cheese. I can literally sit here for an hour pointing out countless examples from the undrafted free agents to the quarterback controversy etc. etc. even Gruden
during his time was a 500 coach, like all the other great coaches he won his games with good teams. John Fox has Peyton Manning, Bill Bella check has Tom Brady, Tom Coughlin has Eli Manning. Those are just the quarterbacks, not even touching on the other 52 talented players on the roster

    Raiders.
Since we have our own Forums this has been discussed ad naseum.
This Coach was saddled with $70 million handicap that prevented them from signing talent this year.
The purge is over and with the # 5 Draft pick and in fact all of their picks, this Coaching Staff has a chance to seed in some real Talent! 2014 will be different!

I’ve heard that the raiders will only fire Allen if Gruden wants the job.
