Stanford head coach David Shaw doesn't plan to interview with anyone

Stanford Cardinal head coach David Shaw is getting his team set to possibly capture their second consecutive Rose Bowl championship in two days when they face off against the Big Ten champion Michigan State Spartans.

In addition to dealing with the pressures of getting a team ready for one of the biggest games of the year, because of his success in Palo Alto, Shaw also has to deal with his name being brought up this time of year as a candidate for coaching vacancies within college football and the National Football League.

But, teams like the Texas Longhorns, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and a host of others may not want to hold there breath as Shaw appears to be sticking to his guns about not wanting to leave the Cardinal anytime soon:

Shaw said he had not been contacted by anybody and also that “I have not and don’t plan on interviewing with anybody

Since taking over for Jim Harbaugh, who began building this Stanford program to prominence, Shaw has wonderfully kept this program thriving, which is why he draws such an interest from teams across the football landscape.
