San Francisco 49ers’ offensive line coach Tim Drevno has taken a similar position on the USC Trojans’ staff, according to a report from Matt Maiocco at CSN Bay Area.

In addition to being offensive line coach for newly hired head coach Steve Sarkisian, Drevno will serve as the running game coordinator, according to the report.

Mike Solari is the other o-line coach for San Francisco and will remain.

49ers’ head coach Jim Harbaugh, who has had Drevno on his staff since he was head coach at the University of San Diego early last decade, wished Drevno well in a statement Tuesday, via CSNBayArea.com.

"“It is with great emotion, pride and excitement that we wish Tim Drevno continued success in his professional journey at The University of Southern California,” Harbaugh said.“Coach Drevno and I have partnered for the last decade at The University of San Diego, Stanford University and the San Francisco 49ers. Tim has been a trusted agent, outstanding football coach and known friend every step of the way.”"

San Francisco earned the No. 5 seed in the NFC and face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field this coming Sunday in a rematch of last year’s Divisional round of the playoffs.
