Buccaneers will interview Lovie Smith first

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers parted ways with head coach Greg Schiano and are looking for a new head coach. Former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith is among the favorites to get the job, if not the favorite, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport reports that he will be the first candidate the Bucs hire.

The Bucs are also sad to be considering former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak. If things go well with Smith it makes you wonder if they’ll even get to Kubiak.
