Heat guard Norris Cole falls hard on his face (Video)

There was a scary scene last night during the Miami Heat’s game in the Pepsi Center against the Denver Nuggets. Heat point guard Norris Cole was taking the ball up court on a fast break by himself. He went for a contested lay up against Nuggets guard Ty Lawson.

Cole fell awkwardly and landed on his face. He laid on the court near the baseline for a while being attended to by trainers. Eventually he was helped up and he went to the locker room.

Lawson was called for the foul and Joel Anthony came in for Cole and made both free throws. At first it looked like a possible broken nose, but head coach Erik Spoelstra said it wasn’t that severe.

“He went back and after a few minutes he was fine,” Spoelstra said, via ESPN. “He is just going to have a fat lip tomorrow.”

The best is at the end of the video when the announcers change subjects and just start talking about the video board.
