So what was running through the head of Southern University Jaguars head coach Roman Banks as his team jumped out to an amazing 44-0 lead against Champion Baptist College on Monday night? Well, according to Banks, he didn’t even realize the route was going on.

Per ESPN:

I didn’t even realize they hadn’t scored until then. They made a free throw and then everyone starting clapping. I looked at the scoreboard and then asked my assistant if that was the right score. I had no idea. It surprised me.

Banks went on to say that embarrassing the opponent was not the goal:

We were preparing for league play and already had planned to change defenses throughout the game. It’s not as if we pressed the entire game. We weren’t trying to embarrass anyone.

The Southern University Jaguars went on to win the game 116-12. The two teams previously met in December 2012, and the Jaguars won that contest 90-36.

NO CLASS AT ALL! I hope when his team plays up they get treated the same way. Now because of his stupidity the whole country is rooting against them.
