The Cleveland Cavaliers announced point guard would have an MRI after their game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, but as Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports, they are not expecting to find any damage.  It is critical they do not as Irving did not stay out of the game yesterday after the incident that would have hurt the knee.  Irving stayed in the game and kept playing.

The announcement of the MRI caused more than a few eye brows to raise as if it was a potentially serious issue, they would have had no business keeping him in the game and risking further injury.  As talented as Irving has been, he has missed time with injuries his entire career, so there is always a concern when he goes down like he did.  There has been no indication to this point if Irving will miss any time at this point.
