Kevin Garnett said he has no rhythm and he doesn’t know where he fits into the offense.
Nearly approaching the halfway point of the 2013-2014 NBA season, one of your ‘star’ players is confused to how he fits on the team? Somebody hit the panic button. Actually – I’m sure that’s been pressed so many times it’s already broken.
Garnett’s comments come just days after Paul Pierce complained about a lack of floor time, so it’s clear the veterans are getting frustrated with the mounting losses.
Currently, Brooklyn – who prior to the season was expected to be the Miami Heat’s biggest challenge in the Eastern Conference – is sitting at a woeful 10-21, good for third place in the Atlantic Division.
If there is a silver lining for the Brooklyn Nets, it’s that the NBA’s Eastern Conference is comically woeful as the Nets sit just three games out of the eighth and final playoff spot (and just 3.5 games out of the sixth seed).
