As a professional athlete, you have to know cameras are everywhere – not only on the field, but off. Apparently, that’s a notion LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger momentarily forgot.
With Mettenberger (who is injured after suffering a torn ACL in the season finale) resting on the sideline, he decided to give his nose a good digging into.
Now – the camera capturing Mettenberger giving his nose a good assault might have been embarrassing enough as is, but that’s when he took things a step further.
Bored on the sideline, the former Georgia QB who ended up transferring to LSU decided to slowly move his hands away from his nose and into his beard. It looked as if the situation wouldn’t escalate as he gave himself a beard massage, but that’s when he took it to a new level and opened his mouth ever so slightly, inserting his fingers before clamping down.
What the hell, Zach? You could have just flicked it onto the field – lord knows what other type of fluids are there. So many better options.
