Ohio State Buckeyes suspend defensive end Noah Spence three games, starting with Orange Bowl

Something just didn’t seem quite right earlier this week when the Ohio State Buckeyes announced that their talented defensive end, Noah Spence, had not made the trip to Miami with the team for the upcoming Orange Bowl showdown with the Clemson Tigers as he stayed back to deal with “personal issues.”

Now, we’re learning that those issues may be something a bit severe that were detrimental to the team, because Erick Smith of USA TODAY is reporting that the team has suspended the DE for three games, beginning with the Orange Bowl this week and ending with the first two games of the 2014 season:

This will be a huge blow to the team as they take on the high-powered offense of Tajh Boyd, Sammy Watkins and Clemson on Friday night.

There’s still no word yet on what the transgressions specifically are, but I’m sure it will come out sooner or later.

I hope Boyd and the Tigers’ offense tees off and unleashes a torrent on the Nuts.

Oh Barry now be nice. You know you’re a closet nut licker. So don’t be too disappointed when the Tiggers lay an egg.
