UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was able to defeat her heated rival Miesha Tate in the co-main event of UFC 168 over the weekend thanks to her signature armbar. While Rousey went past Round 1 for the first time in her career, she was able to dominate Tate in every aspect of the fight before sinking in the fight ending armbar in the third round.
Following the fight, Ryron and Rener Gracie took the time to record a great video to provide breakdowns of some of the submission game that we saw on the mat during this past weekend’s event.
In this edition of their Gracie Breakdown, Ryron and Rener discuss Jim Millers gogoplata/armbar finish, Anderson Silva’s fractured leg and Ronda Rousey’s latest armbar finish.
If you have never watched a Gracie Breakdown before, now is the time to start.
The videos are full of knowledge that will help you better understand the ground game in mixed martial arts and you will come away educated. You can check out the video below.
