In the Allstate Sugar Bowl tonight in New Orleans, many expected the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide to come out and absoutely annihilate the Oklahoma Sooners. Early on, it appeared that that was indeed going to be the case, as Alabama scored within the first two minutes.
However, the Sooners remembered that they were the Sooners and they fought back mightily to keep it close. But when you have AJ McCarron and the athletes to go along with him like Alabama does, staying close with the Tide is easier said than done.
After Oklahoma took a 14-10 lead, McCarron and the Tide got the ball back and they were ready to strike. On a 3rd and 8 play, right after the second quarter got underway, he hit a wide open DeAndrew White for this 67-yard touchdown strike, to regain the lead for Alabama:
Like I sad, never count the Tide out from anything. Although, you have to give a lot of credit to this OU team because many expected them to be way out of this contest at this point.
