Alabama Crimson Tide running back T.J. Yeldon got off to a quick start in the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners. He scored the touchdown on the opening drive for Alabama, when it looked as if they were going to blow the Sooners right out of the Superdome. But, Oklahoma has been stingy in this one as they’ve held tight with the Crimson Tide in the first half.

So to stay ahead in this one, Alabama is definitely going to have to limit their mistakes, which unfortunately Yeldon had a tough time in doing so in the second quarter, as a bad habit crept up at the wrong time.

As the Tide were driving in the red zone, Yeldon fumbled the ball, something that he’s had an issue with this season, and it was recovered by the optimistic Sooners:

The Oklahoma defense has been playing feisty all night and, while they’ve given up their fair share of plays, they’ve been able to cool off the Alabama offense enough to keep the lead in this one.
