Boise State Broncos and Cincinnati Bearcats set home-and-home dates

If you’re a fan of the Cincinnati Bearcats and have always wondered what it would be like to attend a stadium featuring turf that is blindingly ugly, well, today is your lucky day! The respective athletic departments at Cincinnati and Boise State announced that the two schools will play a home-and-home series.

The first game, scheduled for Sept. 21, 2019, will be played at Bronco Stadium. Cincinnati fans should prepare themselves by blasting some Eiffel 65 for the next few years (it’ll help lessen the shock of seeing the blue turf in person). The second game of the series is scheduled for Sept. 26, 2020.

Boise State athletic director Mark Coyle released a statement about the importance of the home-and-home series:

We’re thrilled to add another home-and-home series against a high-quality opponent like Cincinnati to our schedule. With Florida State and BYU also on the schedule in 2019 and 2020, Bronco Nation is going to have the opportunity to watch some great football (NBC’s College Football Talk).

Cincinnati, you folks have until 2020 to prepare for hosting duties. Any chance you could install some red and black turf by then?
