Brandt Snedeker is back in action starting tomorrow at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.  The tournament will be played January 3-6 at the Plantation Course in Maui, Hawaii.

Snedeker won twice in 2013, and collected just over $5.3 million in prize money. His incredible play last season was temporarily halted with a month-long rib injury. Recently, Snedeker fell off a Segaway scooter, injuring his knee.

Doug Ferguson, AP Golf Writer, interviewed Snedeker at the Plantation Course. Ferguson’s article quotes Snedeker saying, “I’m looking forward to playing an injury-free year.”  An injury-free season would be great, and leaves fans wondering how good Snedeker would be without injuries.

Despite the injuries, Snedeker has played extremely well the last couple seasons. He won the FedEx Cup in 2012, and followed it up with a two-win season in 2013. Sneds is one of the best players on Tour, and is one of my favorites to win a major in 2014.  He is known as an excellent putter, which is a crucial skill at major championships.

Look for Snedeker to challenge Tiger at Augusta in April.
