The 2014 NFL Draft doesn’t start until May 8th, but NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport believes he knows what the Houston Texans will do with their top overall pick – select a quarterback.

Rapoport appeared on the Dan Patrick Show on Thursday to discuss the upcoming NFL playoffs as well as elaborate on draft talk, which included chatter about the number one selection, owned by the Texans.

When questioned on what the Texans plan to do with the pick, Rapoport didn’t struggle, quickly suggesting he believes Houston will select a quarterback first overall.

"“Yeah.  I think they will,  I think they should.”"

Simple and to the point.

Rapoport didn’t elaborate much on the potential selection, quickly moving on to their head coaching situation so he didn’t give us much insight as to who he believes Houston will take. That might be because the said quarterback *cough* Johnny Manziel *cough* has yet to officially declare.

Regardless, Rapoport seems firmly committed to the fact that Houston will end the Matt Schuab era (thankfully) and draft a quarterback first overall.
