Michael Johnson wants Nate Diaz next

Michael Johnson is fresh off his KO win over Gleison Tibau this past weekend at UFC 168, and he is already itching to get back inside the Octagon. Just one day after stating that he wants a shot at the title, Johnson took to Twitter to rally his fans behind a potential matchup with Nate Diaz.

Johnson is currently on a two fight winning streak inside the Octagon, and has been improving exponentially each time out. Although his UFC career has been inconsistent, it seems that he is finally poised to make a run at the Lightweight title. Beating a former title challenger like Nate Diaz would really launch him up the rankings and help his chances.

Diaz most recently defeated Gray Maynard by TKO in their trilogy match back in November. That fight ended a two fight skid for Diaz, and brought him right back in the mix at Lightweight. Diaz has yet to respond to Johnson, and the UFC has yet to comment either. If anything changes, we will update you with all the information you need.
