Clowney is projected as the No. 1 prospect on the NFLDraftScout.com big board and is expected to be one of the first players off the board. He had a tumultuous season at times bumping heads with head coach Steve Spurrier over sitting out a game.
Despite being projected that highly, he might not be the first player off the board. Houston Texans have the first pick and need a quarterback desperately. Pairing him opposite of J.J. Watt would be an incredible defensive front.
