It’s only been a day since University of Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater declared for the NFL Draft – a decision which apparently now has agents hounding his mother.
TMZ Sports spoke with Teddy’s mom, Rose, who tells us … ever since the Louisvlle QB announced his plans to leave college and head to the NFL this week, her phone’s been ringing off the hook.
“The agents won’t stop,” Rose says … “They won’t take no for an answer.”
“I ask them, ‘What do you expect me to do? Call my son and tell him to sign with you?'”
There aren’t many players in the upcoming draft with more name recognition than Teddy Bridgewater, who is certainly sure to scoop up a handful of endorsement deals. That has the mouths of money hungry agents drooling, but they’re apparently barking up the wrong tree if they think Momma Bridgewater is going to help them land her son.
“That’s money he earned. I’ve never touched a football. I’ve never been tackled. I just want him to be a productive citizen.”
Where Bridgewater goes will likely be determined by his combine, but he’s certainly to cash in and so will his potential agent.
Might it be Jay Z and Roc Nation Sports?
