Did Triple H hint at a huge main event for WWE Elimination Chamber?

The WWE is entering it’s ‘Road to Wrestle Mania’ stretch as it prepares for Wrestle Mania 30 in New Orleans on April 6th, 2014.

The company has two  scheduled pay per views before the biggest one of them all. As we all know, the WWE Royal Rumble will be coming up in several weeks. Then after the Royal Rumble the company will be preparing for WWE Elimination Chamber.

Elimination Chamber has been pretty dull over the last couple years, but I have a feeling this years will make the cost of the event worth it.

Now back to the Royal Rumble real quick. It’s no surprise that the company booked John Cena vs Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship again. There was bound to be a rematch since Cena is entitled to a rematch clause.

But things are going to get interesting now that Brock Lesnar is back and Batista returning on January 20th. Lesnar announced on RAW that he will be the next guy in line to take on whoever wins between John Cena and Randy Orton.

Which leads us back to the Elimination Chamber. The outcome for the Royal Rumble can obviously go two ways, John Cena wins and takes on Brock Lesnar. That opens up an Elimination Chamber match that will decide who becomes the Number One Contender and takes on whoever wins between Lesnar and Cena at Wrestle Mania.

Or the company can roll with Randy Orton retaining the championship and put together one of the biggest main events in Elimination Chamber history. If not, possibly the history of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship which isn’t really saying much considering it’s only been around for a little while.

I honestly don’t see the company putting a heel up against a heel. That being Brock Lesnar against Randy Orton. The choice could come down to all six men at the top of the company, including Dave Batista and putting them in one huge match.

Triple H does these interviews with Michael Cole on the companies YouTube page. At the very end of the interview, Triple H talks about how 2014 is going to be epic, with guys like John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar and Dave Batista being at the top.

If you’ve never watched an Elimination Chamber pay per view, the match consists of six competitors. I imagined Lesnar and Batista becoming a contender for the title, but I wasn’t sure how it would go down.

Now Triple H has apparently made it clear and leaked the main event for WWE Elimination Chamber which will be LIVE on February 23rd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Here’s a look at the interview with Michael Cole.
