In what may have undoubtedly been one of the most shocking upsets of the season, the Oklahoma Sooners went into the Allstate Sugar Bowl on Thursday night and stunned the third-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, 45-31.
It was a landmark moment for this Oklahoma team after a 10-2 season which included a shocking loss to the rival Texas Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry Game back in October.
The main reason that the Sooners were so on point tonight was the fact that their quarterback was just that–on point. Redshirt freshman Trevor Knight passed for over 300 yards and four touchdowns. It was far and away his best performance of the season.
It was also a great moment for head coach Bob Stoops, who has been under constant scrutiny throughout the past few years for not being able to win the big game.
After the game, both Knight and Stoops joined the ESPN crew for a post-game interview. Well, while they were conversing with Rece Davis, Mark May and Lou Holtz, the rest of the Oklahoma team wanted to do a little photo-bombing.
They did not only that, but they broke the ESPN set in the process:
