The season didn’t end quite how Alabama Crimson Tide junior safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix had hoped it would in the 45-31 Sugar Bowl loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, but nevertheless that appears as if it will be the final time you will see him in an Alabama uniform.

Clinton-Dix is projected to be the top safety taken in May’s NFL draft and a likely first round draft pick, perhaps a top-15 pick but tells Marq Burnett of the Anniston Star that he has yet to talk to his mother of head coach Nick Saban about his decision.

Clinton-Dix had his knee scoped earlier this season following his suspension for receiving improper benefits, but upon his return following his suspension has been at his familiar position in the defensive backfield.

The 6-1, 208-pound safety is the 18th ranked player according to Todd McShay of Scouts Inc. had 78 tackles and three interceptions this season.
