I didn’t stay at a special hotel last night, but I’m going to venture it’s probably bad if you’re better know for your pizza handling skills than your on field ability as is the case for Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson.

The stone handed receiver has been found himself on TMZ quite often recently including today when he said he pretty much agreed with Charles Barkley‘s analysis of the team.

If you missed it, the former NBA legend ripped the Lions on the Rich Eisen Podcast on Friday, suggesting the Lions were the perfect example of a team blooming with talent but without an inability to properly harness it.

Burleson said he couldn’t disagree with Barkley:

"Charles Barkley wasn’t far off the mark when he said the Detroit Lions “have no idea how to play football” … this according to an actual Detroit Lion, who tells TMZ Sports, the team has LOTS of work to do after failing to make the playoffs.Wide Receiver Nate Burleson tells us, “I can’t blast Charles. To a large degree, I agree with him.”"

The Detroit Lions wide receiver did back-peddle a bit, suggesting he didn’t agree with some of Barkley’s acquisitions, such as the team not knowing what they were doing on the field.
