2014 BBVA Compass Bowl: Vanderbilt vs. Houston live stream, start time, TV info and more

Right before the NFL Wild Card Playoff weekend action gets started on Saturday, you can get yourself ready with some college football bowl action as the BBVA Compass Bowl will take the stage with the Vanderbilt Commodores of the Southeastern Conference taking on the Houston Cougars of the American Athletic Conference.

Under head coach James Franklin, Vanderbilt finished the season at 8-4, yet another step for this program under the coach who has reinvigorated them and brought them out of the SEC basement.

Houston also enjoyed themselves an 8-4 campaign, and for a while, were in contention to win the AAC and possibly take a trip to the BCS in the conference’s behalf.

With these two very potent offenses, this should be one of the more enjoyable shootouts of the bowl season.

Here’s how you can watch all the action on Saturday:

Date: Jan. 4

Start Time: 1 PM ET

Location: Birmingham, AL

Stadium: Legion Field

TV Info: ESPN

Live Stream: WatchESPN app
