Four-star wide receiver Jamil Kamara (Virginia Beach, VA Bishop Sullivan Catholic) committed to Mike London and the Virginia Cavaliers at the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday afternoon.
The 6-2, 211-pound athlete was sold on the ability to play close to home where his family can see him play and the opportunity to earn early playing time.
Chip West was Kamara’s primary recruiter and adds to a class that already includes two five-stars in Andrew Brown and Quin Blanding from Virginia as well as fellow four-star guard Steven Moss.
The common denominator is all are from Virginia as the Cavaliers have done a god job keeping the state’s top talent home this year despite a 2-10 season and going winless in the ACC.
Virginia’s class moves up from No. 37 to No. 29 according to 247Sports.
