On Friday night, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul went down with a shoulder injury which will keep him out at least five weeks. That means you may want to get in your ‘Lob City’ highlights while you can considering the high flying act the Clippers put on will likely be somewhat grounded with Paul sidelined.
However, before Paul injured himself, he left us with a highlight to remember which included center DeAndre Jordan.
Paul, as usual, split the defense and made his way into the paint with a streaking Jordan following behind. That left nothing between Jordan and the rim other than fellow seven foot center, Samuel Dalembert of the Dallas Mavericks.
Jordan wasn’t going to be impeded though as he took the alley-oop from Paul and threw down a nasty slam, posterizing Dalembert in the process.
It’s not too often you see seven footer and seven footer crime, but that was a hammer.
Jordan must be enjoying the life at the SportsCenter Top Ten club.
