North Dakota State is taking on Towson in the FCS National Championship game. They’re currently on a 23 game win streak that includes the last two titles giving them the opportunity for a three-peat on Saturday.
Senior quarterback Brock Jensen enters the game with 46 career victories, already a record for any FCS starting quarterback.
“It is hard to put into words what it would mean,” said Jensen, via ABC. “Greatness is right there ahead of us. We have accomplished greatness twice in a row, but three times in a row would be legendary.”
Jensen is looking to end his career with a win as well as get a final win with the Bison for coach Craig Bohl before he leaves for his job at Wyoming.
“What this group and our coaches have been able to do all along, and particularly during this playoff stretch, is be focused at the mission at hand,” Bohl said. “This is about (this) season. My opportunity to reflect on what the next chapter of coaching is has not come about.”
