The media wanted to talk to Kobe Bryant before the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Utah Jazz. They couldn’t get ahold of Kobe, so his teammate Nick Young filled in for him and did his best to answer the questions as the Mamba would.

He doesn’t have a second career as an impressionist on the horizon, but it was funny nonetheless.

The Lakers defeated the Jazz without Kobe Bryant in the line up. Nick Young played well, scoring 16 points in 35 minutes. He added two rebounds and an assist as well.

Kobe has been out with a fractured left knee and the Lakers are three spots from the bottom of the Western Conference with a 14-19 record.

“It seems like when Kobe comes back, we’re going to have a lot of guys coming back,” head coach Mike D’Antoni said, via ESPN. “Hopefully we can stay within striking distance to at least give ourselves a chance going down the stretch and try to salvage the season.”
