Lakers guard Kendall Marshall begs Kobe Bryant for Twitter follow

I guess newly acquired Los Angeles Lakers guard Kendall Marshall knows the clock could strike midnight at any time on his fifteen minutes of fame, so he’s trying to cash in while he can.

Marshall, who had been out of the NBA before the Lakers were forced to sign and start him due to injury lit up the box score in his Hollywood debut. Now he’s trying to get the respect of teammate Kobe Bryant – on Twitter.

The former North Carolina Tar Heel had a simple request for Bryant on the social media network recently, asking him for a follow:

As of right now, Bryant hasn’t granted the request and he may not considering just an hour or so before the young guard tweeted his teammate, Bryant stated the following:

Oh dear.

Of course, if you’ve ever looked at the people Bryant follows, you could see why his follower list might be too clutter-filled as it’s generally very attractive women and nothing more.
