Florida State vs. Auburn: last minute betting odds for BCS National Championship

The Auburn Tigers started off the college football season as a 1000:1 long shot to take home the national championship, but they went on a miracle run this season that has landed them in the final BCS title game against the No. 1-ranked Florida State Seminoles.

While Auburn was able to overcome some big odds to reach the game, they still fin themselves as a double-digit underdog entering the Monday night match up.

According to RJ Bell of Pregame.com, Jameis Winston and Florida State are favored by 10.5 points.

The good news for Florida State fans is that the betting favorite has won and covered six straight BCS Title Games. That obviously doesn’t bode well for the Tigers. However, in the past 15 BCS National Championship games, either the has favorite has covered or the underdog has won outright. If Auburn is able to pull off the upset, they will be able to keep the trend going.

Who do you think will come away from tonight’s game hoisting the crystal ball? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and predictions.
