Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu has announced that he will return for his senior year.  The talented defensive back is going back along with Marcus Mariota in hopes of not only improving as a player but in search of a National Championship.  Many believed Olomu had a great shot to not only be a first round pick but potentially the top corner selected in the draft.

Olomu has tremendous feet, is an extremely talented cover corner who excels in man coverage with the ability to make plays on the football, cause turnovers and when he got the ball in his hands, had the ability to take it all the way.  He does need to improve when it comes to playing the run and being more physical.

The Ducks’ longtime defensive coordinatorNick Aliotti retired, so there was some question if that would have an impact on his decision.  The new defensive coordinator will be extremely happy to have what should be the best weak side corner in the country back for another year.
