With one round to go at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Maui, Webb Simpson, Jordan Spieth, and Dustin Johnson are tied for the lead at 14-under par. Zach Johnson is in fourth place at 12-under, and there is a four-way tie for fifth place at eleven-under.
The players in the mix at Kapalua set the stage for an exciting finish. Simpson is a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, including the 2012 US Open. D. Johnson is a eight-time champ on the Tour, and is poised to breakthrough as a major champion in 2014. He also won the Tournament of Champions last year. Spieth is a 20-year-old who won as a teenager on the PGA Tour in 2013 at the John Deere Classic. Spieth leads the way for the next generation of professional golfers, and he knows a win will catapult him into the 2014 Ryder Cup discussion.
Zach Johnson is also in the mix at 12-under. In addition, Jason Dufner, Brandt Snedeker, Gary Woodland, and Kevin Streelman are three back at 11-under. Any player in the top-five has a realistic shot at winning, someone just needs to go take it.
