Registration now open for ‘A Night with Cougar Football’

Okay, so this isn’t exactly a sleepover where Washington State head coach Mike Leach gives you awesome dating advice, but it’s pretty much the next best thing.

According to SB Nation’s Coug Center, tickets are now available for Washington State’s annual “A Night with Cougar Football” extravaganza. The event will be held at four locations over the next few months — Spokane, Tri-Cities (Kennewick specifically), Portland, and Seattle — and allows Washington State fans to bid in a silent auction, receive updates from athletic director Bill Moos regarding facility projects, and hear Leach himself assess the 2014 recruiting class. All net proceeds will, according to the press release from the school, “offset the expenses of student-athlete scholarships and related athletic support at Washington State University.”

Ticket prices vary depending on both location — the Spokane event is cheaper than the one in Seattle, for example — and if you’re a member of the Cougar Athletic Fund. A ten-person “sponsored” table costs $1,500, which seems a bit steep since, like all things related to the Washington State football team, it’s likely to collapse in embarrassing fashion before the night’s over.

(I kid. Those tables are probably sturdy as hell.)
