Tony Dungy to Detroit Lions rumors

After the Detroit Lions parted ways with head coach Jim Schwartz, former NFL head coach Tony Dungy said the Lions job would be the one he wanted.

“I will tell you this, I think the best job out there is the Detroit Lions,” Dungy said Friday morning in an interview on The Dan Patrick Show. “That’s the job I would want.”

What isn’t to like about the job? Wide receiver Calvin Johnson, quarterback Matthew Stafford and that defensive line, all would make a coach want to go to Detroit.

Then there was this tweet this morning:

Dungy on a flight to Detroit is certainly eyebrow raising. But it all seems to be too good to be true for Lions fans.
