Alex Trebek recites famous rap lyrics on Jeopardy (Video)

Property: Jeopardy!

There are a small handful of people I may pay to watch rap famous hip-hop lyrics, though I’m not sure Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek is one of them.

That said – Trebek busting out some of the most quotable rap songs in history is just as amusing as it sounds.

On a recent Jeopardy episode, the long running game show featured a category entitled ‘It’s a Rap’. Behind the board were well known rap lyrics from an All-Star roster of hip-hop artists, including Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Notorious B.I.G., Grandmaster Flash and Dr. Dre.

Hilarious as the category was, it didn’t match Trebek’s extremely amusing renditions of the verses which sounded overly scholarly in the most gutter of ways.

Never imagined I’d hear Trebek bust out the following:

‘I made the change from a common thief/to up close and personal with Robin Leach’

Even funnier was that he did his best to get a little flow going.

Shockingly, it wasn’t the first time this happened either:

I’m not sure how much longer Trebek is going to continue doing Jeopardy, but once he retires it would be a shame if he didn’t start a YouTube channel where he raps famous hip-hop lyrics.
