The No. 2 Auburn Tigers lost to the No. 1 Florida State Seminoles in the BCS National Championship. It was a heartbreaking loss considering they were up 21-3 at one point in time.

“It felt storybook again,” Auburn defensive tackle Gabe Wright said, via ESPN. “It really felt like we were going to bring it out again. We’re just on the other end of the stick. It’s usually us going out on the field and celebrating. It’s been a long time since we had an ‘L’ in this locker room.”

The fans shared the pain, and Denny’s Diner tried to reach out to them to console them.
