Remember when Dwight Howard was a member of the Orlando Magic and couldn’t wait to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers? The bright lights of Hollywood. The endorsements. The television appearances. The elite franchise. It was everything Dwight could ever want – or so he thought.

Fast forward a few months and Dwight couldn’t get out of Los Angeles fast enough, eventually bolting in free agency – for less money.

Now a member of the Houston Rockets, Howard isn’t interested in hearing anything about the Lakers or answering questions about the franchise – even going as far as to ‘fall asleep’ when reporters asked him about his former team:

Howard is understandably tired about continually being pressed about his former team, though, in fairness the Rockets do host the Lakers on Wednesday evening, so it’s not as if the questions came out of the blue.

Regardless, that was certainly an amusing way to handle the situation – though maybe not the most mature.
