Reds Line Up Valbuena Bid

Reds To Miss Out On Bertrand Loan

Liverpool have been told that they will not be allowed to sign Chelsea full-back Ryan Bertrand during the January transfer window as Victor Moses is not being used enough, the Daily Mirror reports.

Moses has only played six times for the Merseyside club this season and the Blues are reportedly unhappy at the lack of his involvement.

Therefore they are unwilling to allow the defender to join them as they fear a similar situation would harm his valuation come the summer.

Reds Midfield Target Wanted At Own Club

Liverpool midfield target Ever Banega has been told by his club Valencia that they want him to stay beyond the January transfer window, according to ESPN.

The Argentine international has been watched by Brendan Rodgers this season and the club had been weighing up the possibility of  deal during the winter, but faced competition from AC Milan, Fiorentina, Inter Milan and Roma.

However, new Valencia coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has insisted that he is part of his plans and wants him to remain at the club.

Zenit Ready To Rival Reds For Salah

Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg are said to be readying their own £12m bid for FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah, according to reports in Inside Futbol.

The Egyptian international has been the target of some heavy speculation so far this season and Liverpool had been credited as favourites to land his signature.

However, Zenit are keen to bring him on board too and are now hoping to get a jump on their suitors by lodging a formal £12m bid before any of their competitors have a chance to do so.
