There was a strong belief that LSU Tigers running back Jeremy Hill would be entering the 2014 NFL Draft, but it looks like things may have changed. According to the most recent reports from LSU beat writer Ross Dellenger, sources are saying that the redshirt sophomore is leaning towards returning to school for at least another year.
“Hill has not officially decided to return, but all signs point to the 6-foot-2, 235-pounder remaining in school, said the source, who was familiar with the decision but not authorized to speak on Hill’s behalf,” Dellenger wrote.
With the large number of LSU underclassmen that have gone pro early over the past few years, Hill returning would certainly be a big shock.
However, by returning, Hill can put together more game film and make himself the focal point of the Tigers offense.
Hill certainly has the skill set to be a NFL running back, but we will have to see if he can put everything together on and off the field.
