Josey was a pivotal part in leading the Tigers to a 12-2 record, including rushing for 92 yards and three touchdowns in the team’s win over Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl this past Friday.
For the 2013 season, Josey finished with 1,116 yards and 16 touchdowns on 174 carries. For his career, he’s amassed a total of 2,771 yards and 30 scores.
The junior completed one of the greatest individual comebacks in recent memory in 2013. After suffering one of the more gruesome knee injuries you’ll ever see back in 2011, Josey returned in 2013 and broke over a 1,000 yards in helping the Tigers surge through the mighty SEC.
Because of that injury, he’ll get a little more attention from the medical personnel involved with the teams’ decision making as part of the draft process, but we’ve also seen others overcome worse.
