NBA Rumors: Nuggets, Timberwolves have talked Andre Miller trade

The Minnesota Timberwolves don’t exactly have a shortage on backcourt help, but that doesn’t mean they lack interest in Denver Nuggets point guard, Andre Miller.

Miller, who was recently suspended by the team for an argument with head coach Brian Shaw has been rumored to be on the chopping block and multiple teams have expressed trade interest in Miller, including the T’Wolves.

According to Darren Wolfson, the two sides have had trade discussions surrounding Miller though nothing has manifested as of yet:

Told the #Twolves & Nuggets have had a back-and-forth about Andre Miller. Reminder: Den. GM Tim Connelly worked w/ Flip & Newton in Wash.

Minnesota joins a long list of fellow NBA teams looking to acquire the 39-year-old point guard, including the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.

There’s no word on what the Timberwolves may be offering the Nuggets in exchange for Miller.

Conflicting reports have suggested the Nuggets are doing what they can to trade Miller in the next 24-48 hours while others have hinted the team is in no rush to move the disgruntled vet.
