NBA Trade Rumors: Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns to be buyers at deadline

As expected, the Houston Rockets are one of the better teams in the NBA’s Western Conference. Joining them are the Phoenix Suns, who when the season began, were expected to be among the worst teams in the league.

Alas, that didn’t happen and now both the Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns are streaking towards the NBA’s postseason.

Knowing this, both teams will be looking for upgrades at the upcoming NBA trade deadline as Alex Kennedy confirms both franchises will be ‘buyers’ in the trade market:

In addition to the Bobcats, the Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns have also been identified as buyers as the deadline approaches.

It’s likely Houston will be a little more aggressive in regards to improving while Phoenix will most likely be looking towards improving with future goals in mind.

Both teams have plenty of assets and Kennedy hints the Suns could opt to potentially move one of their many draft picks in hopes of securing a roster upgrade.

Should be one of the most active deadlines in recent memory.

This might be the most poorly written post I’ve ever seen. “Alas” has no connection to the rest of the sentence unless the author is portraying an anti-Suns stance. Commas where they don’t belong, others missing where they do, and a good ol’ fashioned sentence fragment to top everything off. My favorite part however, is the fact that there is absolutely nothing to be gained from reading it.
“Phoenix will most likely be looking towards improving with future goals in mind”
    Huh?
As opposed to improving the past?
Anyway, just thought since I clicked an article looking for actual info on the Rockets’ trade plans and had my time wasted I’d waste some more letting whomever is responsible for this tripe being published under the SI banner know we’re not all Neanderthals accepting such low standards.

Maybe I just don’t understand what fansided is about….
