The contest to design a pair of Nike iD TW ’14s for Tiger Woods recently wrapped up.  Woods chose Dane Thompson’s design, and let the world know through his Twitter account.  Here is a series of tweets letting you know how the process unfolded.

Original design Thompson tweeted on December 8th mentioning the Olympics and Ryder Cup as his inspiration.

Tweet by Nike on December 27th mentioning the three finalists.

Tweet by Tiger Woods and hour ago saying Thompson won the contest, and that he will be wearing the kicks on Tour soon.

I think Thompson knew exactly what he was doing when he designed the patriotic themed Nike iDs, especially with the Olympics around the corner.

The contest promoted the new Nike iD TW ’14s, which allow the buyer to personalize their shoes.  Pretty sweet!
